Over the past decade most allies have failed to properly defend the transgender community. Open minded opinions and slogans like "Trans Rights are Human Rights!" aren't enough to change minds and reduce the misunderstanding and hatred being led by the vast amounts of misinformation distributed by MAGA and FOX NEWS/NY POST. You can pick up your smart phone and do actual research of science facts for yourself or you can check these links. Either way you have to counter the misinformation with facts and sources in order to be taken seriously and make a difference. One main fact that people don't mention enough is that transphobia is a nazi ideology and the photos of nazis burning books that people love to make references to actually included the medical data from the world's first transgender clinic. Another is that scientists are obligated to disprove one another, and transgender healthcare wouldn't be healthcare if it wasn't backed by science. 

Why should you care?

Someone you love could be transgender and it should be obvious by now MAGA will continue to rely on transphobia to win future elections. Normalizing facts and increasing public understanding will decrease MAGA's chances of success.
